Homeguard Command Centre for the Government of Madhya Pradesh

The Madhya Pradesh Homeguard needed to run disaster relief operations from a central command centre rather than by phone tree. We delivered a web application and Android app that let the control centre direct battalions to a disaster location, receive reporting back from the field, and communicate with individual soldiers.

Disaster response is the case where a system has to work at its worst moment, not its best. Field units are dispersed, connectivity is unreliable and decisions are time-critical — so the application is built to keep functioning when conditions are against it.
